Because I had written elsewhere on this blog that “it is certainly admissable that races, too, may differ not only in attitude but also in ability” he accuses me of racism. Brand, an Afrikaner at an English university, does not seem to understand English. The term “admissable” means, according to my dictionary, “(of a plan or idea) worthy of being accepted or considered. In law: acceptable as evidence”.
Unlike Robert Brand and his fellow white-hating, PC academics who have reduced the intellectual life in this country to iron-clad conformism last seen in pre-Galilean papal decrees on science (the earth being the centre of creation and the sun revolving around the earth and other such beliefs), I am prepared to accept any truth or fact that may be scientifically proven.
I therefore challenge Robert Brand to prove to me what he takes to be a self-evident fact, namely that sub-Saharan Africans have, on average, an equal IQ and an equal capacity to pass mathematics and science at school or university compared to whites. Or East Asians (Chinese, Japanese) for that matter.
Rather than “resting his case” as he glibly claims on his blog, he should rather present his case first and show us the evidence. Show us one country where the black population performs equally well in maths and science examinations compared to whites or Asians. Or a study comparing the average IQ of different races where the blacks are found to have an IQ equal to that of whites, i.e. 100.
Of course, Robert Brand will never take up this challenge, because – like the mediaeval Catholic church – his beliefs are based on a morality of strict racial and biological equality. Science or intellectual inquiry does not come into it.

The dismal and worsening picture of South Africa’s matric results cannot be explained purely by external conditions (not enough teachers or facilities, etc.) Other, hitherto unnamed, factors might be at work. Such as black aptitude for maths and science, for example.
In a normaland meritocratic society, these things might be glossed over. but in South Africa blacks are preferred over whites when it comes to appointments and educational opportunities. The system implicitly assumes that blacks are more capable than whites or at the very least equally capable.
But what if, as the evidence of poor academic and schooling prowess by blacks suggests, they are somehow – whether as a result of biology, the environment, apartheid or whatever cause – less capable than whites when it comes to logical reasoning and higher forms of decision-making requiring such reasoning?
In that case this society is being socially engineered to go backward! It is precisely punishing those with the capacity to perform much-needed technical and managerial tasks and rewarding those who, on average, lack such capacity.
Recently the appeal court in Bloemfontein found against the municipality of Pretoria (the same municipality prefers to go by the name of a cow or monkey called “Tshwane”)because it had prohibited a senior electrical engineer from appointing skilled whites as high-voltage electricians when no blacks could be found.
Rather than admitting that some races and some individuals might be more talented in certain fields than others and using such talents and skills to the advantage of the whole of society, the dogmatic egalitarians such as Robert Brand and of course the ANC government insist on the racist exclusion of skilled whites from managerial and technical positions.
The disastrious consequences of this insane policy of not making use of available skills possessed by whites will surely lead to the deterioration of services, infrastructure and the economy. This is the real racist crime, not the mere mentioning of the possibility of racial differences in IQ or mathematical aptitude.
